I think there should be more than one group, each with their own destination, such as midwest, northwest, west, southwest, south, southeast, east, and northeast. (or something like that). That way, more people would be able to get in on it. I know if There was just one, and it was starting in san diego, and going to reno, for example, I wouldn't even bother, cause I don't have the time or money to make a trip like that. Even with multiple groups and destinations, they can all still be on the same week/weekend.
+1 on the little sturgis in kentucky... i go every year with my buddies it is a WILD time!! if we meet up in the chicago land area we can meet up at my place then head to WI from there... I am sure a ton of my buddies and brother will want to join us and my girl will want to go as well... i am in! Lets make this happen!!!
OK i just had my calander out... if we rock it in May... we could do 23,24, and 25th... the 25 is memorial day so most of us will have that off... i am more than willing to pitch in and help out as well as offer my pad (even though it is not too big) as a place for ya'll to crash or as a 1/2 point... i know a few of my buddies will want to join us as well... maybe do Milwakee and plan a route to ride, some of us IL, WI, guys can maybe plan it so that we do Milwakee and then the route will take some of you out of stater's back towards where you need to go...
i would love to plan it all but i got the shop, wedding, and my real job... just plain do not have the time... so if someone wants to grab this by the horns i would be more than willing to help out!
wish this site had a live chat deal so we could plan it a bit better
