Should plan a Friday night stop point. Somewhere around Chicago. Maybe on the north side, around the lake? Chicagoans, weigh in here.
We should get one of the H-D shops in/around Chicago involved. They could serve as the meeting point on Saturday morning. Maybe convince them to print a Bobber Run '09 shirt that we would buy - part of the proceeds should go to charity, like helping kids.
If we know the H-D shop to use, somewhere nearby should be the Friday night stop point. Personally, I like to park the scoot, walk, drink, and stumble back... ::-)
agreed should be open to whoever wants to go... as stated if anyone wants to ride in fri night I am in Elgin IL... would be more than willing to have ya'll crash by me, we can do any weekend i dont care... just like Memorial day cause it would open the door for more people to come in town... there are alot of cool camp sites out by the museum area, as well as some wicked roads out that way to cruise...
just got off the phone with the mesuem they are open on memorial day weekend... "everyday honey" is what i was told
Gotta love honey everyday (wasn't she in a Bond flick? :-)
This sounds like a good time folks. I think we need to keep moving full steam ahead!!! Im pretty much in... I got a few buddys that will probably want to make the trip as well... A sg custom, couple sporties, maybe a softy, and maybe even a few metrics... But they are all good guys and know how to have a good time!
