Question Easy Brackets

Has anyone here used the Easy Brackets saddlebag mounting system on a late model Dyna? What did you do for a turn signal relocation kit? How did it all turn out? Thanks

I used the one from the EasyBrackets website. I'm pleased with it, and it seems to be a solid piece. This is the best picture I have right now, not a closeup, but you get the idea. Picture #1 in my album has a different view, but still not a close-up.

Easy Brackets on my 02 superglide, for the model I used the HD relocation kit. When the bags are carrying a light load there is some rattling from them. Some have put a thin washer behind one button to introduce a slight bind reducing the rattle. I haven't done this myself, just passing it along.

I have them on my 05 WG, I ended up making a custom mount of sorts, using several different pieces. Lots of ways to do it based on your bike.

I used the HD turn signal relocation kit cause I had a gift card at a dealer. Watch the video on the Easy Bracket site, and it shows removing the "plug" from the tail light exposing the "pins" on the turn signal wires. With the HD kit you also have to cut those pins off the wire to thread the wires through the turn signal stalk. Then to re-crimp the new supplied pins, it takes a special "barrel roll crimper" which I could not find. Use the Easy Bracket kit, and save days on the install.

Do you already own the bags?

Best bags around and beautiful quick detach system. Lockable too.
The easybrackets will move your bags out to the side creating a gap viewed from behind.
http://www.cyclevisions.com/bag-mounting/barebacks/ ... these are nice for H-D saddlebags. Don't lock though.
