It really doesn't matter. Lots of people like riding an engine that 's half way between a full rigid and the fully engineered counterbalanced engine.

The A engine must have more power, Even the Dressers out run the softies.

The baggers make for power off the showroom floor because of their exhaust: it's massive, so it can be less restrictive than the others. IF dynas came with that beast, it'd be the same off the floor. The gearing on the baggers is also lower than either the softail or the dyans, so that helps them off the line as well.

Let's just end all this right now: The Latin word for "tail" is "*****." Softail = soft *****, i.e., "limp dick." Ergo, Softails are limp dick bikes.
