Default Finally! Making a trip to Florida in March, Coffee anyone?

Looks like me and my girlfriend are making a 2 week trip to Florida end of March (22nd or 23rd).

It a 18 hour flight trip from cold and grey and cold Sweden, Europe.

Now, I need to know good Harley, Custom shops, nice stores and bikemeetings we can visit. Don´t care much about Zoo, Epcot center or Disneyworld

Maybe we can drop in for a cup of coffee and visit some of the members here. See your great bikes for real! Would be awesome!

We are gonna stay on the west side, around Fort Mayers... But we will have acces to a rentalcar...(sadly no bikes)

Maybe we can rent bikes 2-3 days just to feel the "heat".. Need input on that to.. where, how, cost etc...

PS. I have a Californian license if that helps. (still valid)

All ideas are welcome!

/Paul

If you have a California license with a motorcycle endorsement you could rent one from a dealer. There are a ton of them in Florida.
Lots of cool stuff in Fla. but I don't actually live there, so I can't give you the best lowdown on where to go exactly and cost of stuff.
Have a good time though, your going to love the weather.

Rent bikes and ride them all the way down the west coast to the Keys.

Paul!!! No **** man!!!!! I was hoping to be able to see your ride, but hell man, just rent something and we can do some good riding. I'm not to familiar with the west coast, as ashamed as I am to admit, but we've done a couple rides around lake okechobee and that was pretty cool. I still have to make a ride down to the keys damn it. Lotta folks live down here from the forums man. We should all get a big ride together. That'd be pretty sweet. Its a shame you couldn't come a bit earlier in the month.. Daytona bike week is from Feb. 27th to March 8th.. we could do some riding up there. I'm sure it gets pretty buck wild up there. There are THOUUUUSANDS of bikes up there. But damn man, I'm excited to hear your coming brotha. We should meet up, I'd get a couple of my buddies to ride with us.

I don't know if it's realistic but I'm gonna do my best to make it. Not many time a forum member hits the states, and within 500 miles or so. (If it's cool with y'all)
