Shoot,I think I screwed up
Hey everyone,just joined up.
Need some opinions.
Wife and I rode for years and kind of gave it up when our daughter was born.Sold our bikes(she rides also)
Anyway,bought a 2001 FXDX Sport with 1100 miles on it a couple of weeks ago for $7500.00 Checked it out,everything looked good,no leaks,rode nice(it was about 15 degrees out)looks new.
Was out in the garage to start it up this morning,the garage is not heated and caught a leak out of the corner of my eye coming from under the primary where the belt goes around the front sprocket(gear oil)
Any ideas before I get into it as to what I am looking for.

could be a number of things, my guess would be a shifter shaft seal, but you can also have a loose bolt, bad gasket... number of things... you need to get down there and see where it is coming from
