Default Question about adding little apes.
Anyone know if the cables/wires are long enough on a stock street bob to put 16 inch apes on without replacing them?

Long time since I"ve been on the site.....still awesome.

No they are not... well what year is your ride? 16's are some pretty big apes, i would not say little

The wiring harness should be long enough but you will need to buy new (longer) throttle / front brake / clutch cables. Hillside country cycles on ebay has a pretty good deal for apes with cables for $299. I have these installed and they are pretty nice.

Thanks for the responses All. Not my bike......I'm on an 01 Superglide. Good buddy of mine is getting the latest Bob in June.

16's are definately not 'little apes' and stock cables wont werk.
