Steet Bob triple trees

I have noticed quite a lot of fine scratches on my triple trees, the rest of the chrome is spotless. Are the triple tree chrome on the street bob? Any suggestions for polishing them out?

The triple trees are polished aluminum. I have seen some aluminum polished so well that it rivals chrome, but that is a lot of work and aluminum is soft enough that swirl marks and scratches are hard to avoid.

yeah...I have the same problem. I've tried everything, and still can't seem to get them scratch free. I'm just living with it. If anyone knows a better way or better product, let me know..I've used the harley chrome/metal polish, mothers, and nevrdull

Thanks guys, does Harley make a chrome triple tree for the new larger fork?

Been thinking about putting the buffing wheel to mine. Bad place for bug guts to spot the finish. A brighter polish should prove more resilient.

Mine are all spotted and I can't seem to get them out no matter how much elbow grease I use.
I would like to put chromed ones on. But have not found any yet.
