A little additional info......I bought a bent rim with floating rotor off a forum member here for $50.00. I used the hub and rotor from that wheel. Sold my 19" laced rim for $150.00. Also sold my stock rotor for $40.00. Selling these reduced the price of the new wheel considerably. Lacing it myself also saved a bundle.
I used Drag Specialties part# DS-380138 spokes with my stock FXDB hub. They're chrome, and if I did it over again I'd spend a little more and go with polished stainless.

Weird...Drag Specialites says these are for the narrow glide front end but for a 19" wheel. The ones for the 19" wheel are 8.5" long while the ones for the 21" wheel are 8.25" long. How can the ones for the taller wheel be shorter?
I originally had the DS-380139 as recommended by another forum member, but the guy putting my wheel together said they were too short so he went with the 138s. Maybe it has to do with how they're laced, like nkauf mentioned earlier.
I used Stainless spokes from J&P and laced them to the stock hub. I simply called J&P to get the correct spoke pattern. did not go with the wider front wheel, because of fender issues and, here in europe, if you change something from what harley does then you have to PAY!!

Did you buy the front wheel from j&p as well? or did you just get one from another bike? I talked to a guy at j&p and he is helping me pick the parts I need. He said the spokes for doing this are 9 3/4" long which sounds long compared to what everyone on here is saying. He also said that Harley wheels can ONLY accept a "Cross 4" pattern because of the way that they are drilled. On the up side though...if you order from j&p and you get the wrong stuff they will exchange it no problem.
