Default Steering Shock ?
New to this site, very intresting stuff. Just picked up steet bob on the 23 dec and looking at different ideas. I noticed that a few bikes had steering shocks on them! are there problems with wheel wobble on this bike?

not that I know of this is my second street bob and i have not had any problem with it.

Steering shocks? You mean a steering damper? I've not seen one on a Dyna yet, but I'm sure they're out there.

I can guarantee I'll never ride my Dyna fast enough to need a steering damper. Just set the suspension up properly and you don't need one, IMO.

My 07 FXD is stock and stable at over 100 mph.

I've not seen one with a steering dampner that I can remember....

I haven't seen a steering shock on a street bob yet. I have no wobble. I've hit 90 and it was smooth, so don't know. A steering dampner helps every bike when going through turns and twisties. I believe it's whether you want to spend the money on it or not.

the only bikes I have seen with a "steering shock" if I understand what you are talking about, are the bikes with springer front ends. They don't come stock on Dynas though...

I had some wobble, but they tighted up my sterring nut and now all is good.
very stable.
