For abnoxiously loud (thats how i like it go for the SS. The BR 2 into 2 are much louder than stock but not as loud as the SS. The BR 2 into 1 are louder than stock yet not as loud as BR 2 into 2. So on a scale of louder to lame:
SS - Excessively loud
BR 2 into 2 - Very Loud
BR 2 into 1 - Loud
Stock - Lame
Cheers
This may seem odd, but I realy like the look of the stock tommmy guns, at least as far as wrapping around the front side... is there a new pipe with the sound we want that has this shape to it??? I don't mean the slip ons, I have heard that they dont have the sound...
I guess I want the staggered short shots but with the wrap and cut outs in the shields.
Seen anythiing like that out there????
Also a friend is trying to talk me into useing a extended length hole saw to cut out a 3/4 inch hole from inside the baffels like he did to his Road King, his sounds great and never had an issue.
Doesn't sound odd to me. I like much the looks of the stock exhaust system of the Fat Bob. It was part of the whole package of the Fat Bob that got my interest in the machine in the first place.
When I purchased my 07 FXD it had the 2 - 2 Big Radius.
The most obnoxiously loud pipes I have ever had. Thankfully, they also produce NO power..making it easy to get rid of them
I tried 2-1 D&D fatCats w quiet baffle, still too loud..then SuperTrapp, which is fine.
The Big Radius do "look cool" however
Produce no power????Must produce more than standard tins...plus SE airfilter and racetuner surely ?On the Dyno mine produced more than standard both in torque and hp.
