Default SE Big Twin Compensator

I just ordered one. Has anyone installed this part in their 07 and up Dyna? I would love to hear feedback. I will hopefully get it this week and install.

It's a big spring on the left side of your crankshaft.

Thanks sniper77 I have read all the posts. The one thing that really bothers me is that the stock compensator is $hit and they won't replace it in any of the 07,08 or 09's. It came in today will have it installed tomorrow will let you know how it goes if my wrench is available to do it.

I was really just posting the link because SuperFastGlide had asked what a compensator was.

I figured you knew what it was and knew you needed it before pulling the trigger on a $250 part.

Be sure to tell us if it was worth it, I am just a couple of weeks away from my build and might have to come up with a bit more money to get it too.

Mud I was getting start up knock and tranny clatter under load. I didn't have any issues with launching but it did shudder a bit on faster starts. I hope I am right. The comp is bottoming out on start up for sure and its getting more frequent. That alone should be worth the change.

I'll be interested to hear the results after the changeover.

Could you take a photo of the original equipment and the new??
