Default Anyone have expeience with Kuryakyn throw over saddle bags?

Anyone have any experience with the grand tour trow over saddle bags? I want something quick that I can take off and not leave any mounting hardware. My concern is that they may slide around or hit the wheel. Thanks for any input.

Nope they sit quite still:

But I don't let them hang down very far either.

You might want to check out these bags from fox creek leather. Nice bags and you don't have to relocate the lights.

All the Dyna's shown in that picture have had their turn signals moved from the stock location. They are nice looking, but also in their description is "small".

The gran throw overs can haul quite a bit. All depends on how much you need to pack!

Also consider a detachable backrest w/ luggage rack to mount up a T-bag.

archergodwin, you carry a passenger with the bags on? if so, any complaints about leg room or the seat being covered by the throw-over?

You can install them under the seat, if they rub the butt. I know that slows how quick you can remove them, I'm getting ready to mount mine on Easy Brackets. The other good thing is that they are expandable. Just wish they didn't have all that advertising on them.
