I'm replacing the stock exhaust on my 2009 Street Bob with Vance & Hines big radius 2-into-2 pipes. The front pipe test-fit fine, but the rear pipe is way off. When I fit the head pipe to the exhaust flange, the bolt holes in the rear support plate are off by 1/4". Then when I hand-tighten the flange nuts, the rear end of the pipe pulls away from the support plate by about 1/2".
did you install the space for the bracket? Is the bracket installed correctly? If your not on the right holes and the spacer is not installed it will throw everything off.

think hes right comes with a spacer i think gets used on the SB, i didn't need it on my fxdc and if you are off on the holes youll be off has to be a bracket set up issue double check it.
Yes, the spacer is installed and the bracket (part# 391-P) is on the correct holes. The front pipe fits fine.
I'm wondering now if the mounting plate welded to the frame-side of the rear pipe was improperly placed too far rearward. That would account for the front pipe fitting, but the rear pipe not fitting.
Vance & Hines said they needed pics, too. After looking them over, they agreed with me that the mounting plate was welded too far back on the frame side of the rear pipe. They've shipping a replacement pipe to me this week.
