Need a quick answer before I pack up my tins for paint...
Dyna Glide ModelsSuper Glide, Super Glide Sport, Super Glide Custom, Dyna Glide Convertible, Super Glide T-Sport, Dyna Glide Police, Dyna Switchback, Low Rider, Street Bob, Fat Bob and Wide Glide.
Maybe while the old lady is gone I'll run out to the garage and bring in the fender, forks and front wheel and see how it all fits in a mockup here in the warm living room lol
man.. i am all about change.. but i would not paint that bike if i was you... granted i am not and it is your bike... but even just pulling off that emblem will make a HUGE diff in the paint, looks very clean!
when my dad asked me to paint his i told him no
Yikes I can't believe I am hearing this. You should have sold the tins on Ebay. 100th stuff brings in a premium. To my knowledge you cant buy the pinstripe/tape used.
I saw a bike that had a candy red painted over the factory paint with ghost flames in it...looked pretty cool! I'll take that other emblem off your hands....Don't throw it away!
ok, tell you guys what I'll do. I'll put them in the classified forum until Sunday. if someone hasn't agreed to trade me or buy them by then, I'm shipping them out monday for some crazy paint work
so any of you know anniversary owners... if you want to trade your fxdl or fxdwg tins for my anniversary stuff, or if someone with an 03 just wants a back up set, find me a non -03 set and I'll trade ya or sell these to ya.
just mocked it up, the stock fender WILL work (with the side spacers of course).
I would love to be able to save the stock tin, but buying new AND having it painted puts it out of my budget.
a new fender is 79 bucks through zanotti's. wide glide 41mm front fender.
this is primer only.
for 209 bucks you can get the new 09 fender on the night train and softail custom that hugs the tire.
