Default Need a quick answer before I pack up my tins for paint...

I am sending my stuff out for paint, but got to thinking... I am also switching to a wideglide front fender and a 21" wheel.

Will my 19" front fender look ok on there? Or should I look for a different fender to send out with the tank and rear fender for paint?

I know i can get spacers to make up the mounting bracket difference, but what about the height change in wheel size?

unless you want to buy them or send me a replacement set in trade

I asked last year if there was any reason to give special consideration to the anniversary stuff, and the consensus was there were so many of them out there that they aren't too special for saving.

If someone bought them quick or wanted to trade me their non anniversary stuff, to preserve the history or memorabilia aspect of it, then I'm all for it. But otherwise these puppies are coming back a different color in a month or so

I would be interested in an emblem if you where planning on tossing them. I want one to put on a home made air cleaner cover.

Yep. FXDWG. is that a 19 on there now? I'm guessing there is not much more than 1 inch between the fender and tire?

yep, 19 on there now, but I am going to demons wide glide forks. check my other thread here.

So I should grab a fxdwg fender? I know that will get me the width, but it will work with a 21" wheel/tire where my stock fender won't?

I compared them at the Harley vs. Harley section at the HD website and they look like the same fender. I think the 21" yeilds the same circumference, just more wheel and less sidewall height than the 19 ".

You could always just get t ire that has a lower sidewall profile than the stock dunlop. a 90/21 avon should be lower profile.
