I am running no baffles and I feel no difference. I have also spoke to numerous people who know their stuff and tell me these motors are bulletproof just removing the baffles WILL NOT hurt your motor. Has anyone in the Dyna section blown their scoot up by removing the baffles, I would assume, NO. So please if anyone in here has done damage removing the baffles please enlighten me.........................................

Problem here is that you still need the O2 sensors to re-adjust the a/f mixture automatically. Without the sensors you'll need a fuel management system.

I don't want to half *** it, and I don't want to be popping & spitting fire.

I run baffles but cut them in half. PERFECT. Runs great and still medium noise.

It is no secret that removing baffles can cause torque loss, overheatng exhaust valves, reversion, rear cylinder scavenging and other issues. These issues won't grenade your motor instantly but over the long haul can have ill effects that are costly to repair. .

You would be better served to get a set of tuned baffles like Big City Thunder because you change the exhaust dynamics by cutting the baffles in half.

Dude - I had the RipSaws on my old sporty......those things are L-O-U-D. The could set car alarms off in the next town. Completely obnoxious - I have permanent ringing in my ears now from them (no kidding; I really do). they're even louder that most straight pipes cuz of the way they aim down at the road...it sorta reverberrates the sound right back up at you. I ended up having shorty baffles welded into the things just to take the edge off.

They look fuggin cool though.....go for the legends with the baffles...you'll be glad you did.
