To baffle or not to baffle....??

I have a 08 low rider- I'm purchasing Samson Rip Saws for it. The tech at Samson suggests that I purchase the Legend series instead of the Orignal because of the baffles & o2 sensor. He said the Legends will go on no problem- and after a few miles will adjust themselves. No need for a power commander or dyno. They cost about $300 more then the Originals. Is it worth it to spend the extra $$ on the nicer pipes?

yes it is worth it. No baffles kill your torque. Your bike will feel flat till higher rpm's.

Get the baffles. Seen too many issues on other bikes when they did not have the baffles.

baffels = backpressure. You need both.

Part of the problem is that my bro thinks I should get the cheaper pipes & buy after market baffles for $50 or so. I'm not confident that it will be that easy. I'm starting to think that he doesn't want my bike to not only sound better but run better then his!
