Hi all
would a 21x 3.5 fit on the front of an 08 street bob? if so, what size tire would it use? what is a good tire? will it fit under the stock fender? any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated...
cheers
J
You could put a wagon wheel on there if you wanted to. I think most of the bagger guys running that size are using a 130. As far as if it will fit a Bob, not sure but it would look sweet if you can pull it off.
Yes it will fit. Do a search and you will see many that have done this. VenturaChop, bosken and jmpancoast come to mind (and myself in progress). a 120/70-21 tire will be perfect. Could probably go wider but not narrower with the 3.5. The stock fender should work, but might be close. I just got an Avon Cobra in the above size to go on my 21x3.5. Should be getting it mounted in a day or two. Check my album and I'll have some shots of it on there once I get it done.
I'm using a 120 on a 21X3.5 front wheel. Fender fits and actually looks much better due to the tire filling the rather large gap that the 19" wheel cannot fill.
I have a 21' on mine. I have plenty of extra room. I think TWEAKIN's bad a$$ ride has a 3.5.
Thanks A-10, your bike looks great... I am running a 21x3.5 with a 120/70-21 Metz. The front fender fit tighter than I was comfortable with so I lifted my front fender a hair. I love the feeling of the fat front tire (for a 21 inch).
