Default K&N filter for SE AC
Has anyone bought the K&N HD-0808 for the SE AC? If so where did you buy it from?

Any auto parts store that sells K&N products can get it for you. A deployed friend of mine works part time at one of them. I might get him to buy it for me with his discount. Good luck.

Go to autozone, they can order whatever K&N filter you want.

I tried looking online at checkerauto, autozone and j&p but noby had it listed.

Yea, they have to order it and don't list it on their website. That's what my wife says anyway. She used to work at autozone.

RepublicCycle.com in Texas sent me one last week. Nice improvement over the HD filter.
They didn't show it online yet, but contact them from their website and they will get you the particulars. Great to deal with!

I thought the K&N PN for the SE air cleaner was HD-0800 ?
I looked a while back and found the auto parts stores were more expensive than eastern performance cycles

The correct filter for the standard AC Screamin Eagle Stage 1 for my 2008 96 is indeed HD-0808, has the mounting thread for the stock AC cover. HD-0800 does not.
