This product looks like it works great www.innovativebalancing.com Anybody have any experience with these?? My stick on weights are always falling off!!!
I run jeeps off road and know that many of my cohorts use these. They say that at low speeds you can hear them rolling around but once at speed they settle down. Some people skip buying the ceramic ones and go with BBs. I have heard that sometimes they stick together and then there are issues, but the folks I know run their tire pressure at about 5 psi and can sometimes get water in the tire. They also play around a lot with their tire pressures (inflating/deflating and have trouble with them sticking in the valve during deflation). All that said the folks that run them say it helps.
Tried to give you as much information as I could, hopefully it isn't too confusing...
OK, I got them in Wednesday night, and left for B-W Thursday morning. Let me start by saying I am glad I put these little beads in my tires. My wheel weights had fallen off my front tire and it was vibrating badly. After installation it seemed to be smoother than when the weights were on there. No more head shake at all. I have tubeless tires, and what a P.I.T.A to get those little beads into the valve stem. I had bought the little applicator and everything. To tell you to go slow while pouring them in is an under statement. You will need something to use to tap on the valve stem to make them go in if you end up pouring too fast. Use something that will not damage the surface of your rim. Other than being a Pita to install I am happy with them.
Ranger thanks for remembering to update us I read on the site even with the applicator a little vibration on the stem helps. I was going to use my braun toothbrush with an old head against the stem. It might help I'll let you know when I do it (1 mo) later
