Hmmm, ok I'm picturing the blue with some flake in it asanubisss sudjested for the base. Then use the red as primary color for some type of graphics. What kind? well, that I have not figured out yet.

I like the gunmetal myself. It looks awsome. I have been thinking of painting mine next year, I used to have a XL1200R in black cherry and and loved the color, I think the Fat Bob would look nice in that color too.

What about a metallic red basecoat with a gunmetal overcoat. That way it would look like gunmetal until the sunlight hit it, then you could see the red come through. Just an alternative to the gunmetal with red flake. I'm no painter, but if you could pull it off, that would be pretty cool, I would think.
