1980 Lowrider Cam Cover
Did anyone out there ever see an article or manuel telling you that you can remove the cam cover (cone some call it) without removing or loosening the pushrods. I remember if not in a dream that if you turn the cam notch to about 5:00, that with a cam cover puller which I made can pull off the cone leaving the cam in place. I know it would be a load at least on one pushrod but I thought it said that there was one position that the cam could be in to do this. Any help out there would be great. Thanks Jim

Sorry, wish I could help you. I had that same bike, oh so long ago, and loved it (see pic in my profile). But unfortunately I didn't have it long enough to do any real wrenching on it. Divorce happened. I'll see what I can find though. Good luck.
