Had several shields on my softail and I can tell you that the MS Rio Grande is the best one bar none.
Love it, and the folks at Memphis Shades really stand behind their product too.
Oh and another thing, once you put one on, it's rather doubtful whether you will ever take it off again.
You'll wonder why you never got one in the first place...and you can take that one to the bank.

Have always ridden a lot of Interstates and highways. Without a windshield, it was just too tiring. I like the looks of a bike without a windshield, but, I like riding it and being comfortable even more. So, the windshield is on to stay. Another plus is having my keys, wallet, garage door opener, glasses (have to wear trifocals now), and anything else that will fit in the windshield bags. I find them quite handily placed for getting at stuff easily.

Yep, I originally put a windshield on my old Sporty and have had them since.
I do a lot of highway and cool Colorado riding, so it's a no brainer for me. You will get spoiled with it though.

If you've already put the passenger friendly seat, sissy bar, and saddle bags on...why not a windsheild.

My HD quick connect sits in the garage most of the time. Hate the way it looks but for long trips I still use it.
I used to have a Memphis and they are good too but with them you do have to leave hardware on the tubes. The HD comes off clean.
