I just put in some Quiet Baffles in my ShortShots and just took my bike for a test run. HOLY CRAP WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! I never really believed that adding some back pressure would increase the lower end torque as much as it did. My bike takes off so much better and even though they are not as loud. They sound better to me because the sound is much deeper. Man that was an awesome performance boost for only 70 bucks!!!
I'm curious to see some before and after dyno numbers. I've been contemplating the quiet baffles because my short shots are obnoxiously loud and lack the low end grunt that I want. Seems cheaper than swapping to a 2 into 1, however I don't think you would gain THAT MUCH tq compared to a thunderheader. You can't get a thunderheader for $70 either though.
