went to my brothers last night to watch the fight... finished wiring the chop up... re did EVERY wire in the bike (it was prev wired with F'N SPEAKER WIRE!!!!!!)... got the oil coolers ran, fog lights mounted up and on wiht heel tap push button switch, GPS mount finished, redid the oil lines, all that is left is to wire up the LED's so we can lite that sucker up... (and install the BCT baffels we are going to make work... so prob going to have to jet it), and put back on the chain...
it is coming along great! figured i would post some pics of what we came up with for a GPS mount:
we call it the **** SLED... it is his bar hopper panty dropper: He Made the mount on the bridgeport, the hole is beveled to work for a reg tom tom and the little metal clips in back hold it in, then made two brackets to hold it in from THEFT, powdered those, use an old mirror stem and made two small spacers... then i polished it up real nice... figured some of you may be able to wip somehting out liek this as well and it looks GOOD! alot better than some of the mounts you can buy!
Cool deal homie! I'm working on a GPS mount for one of my bros....probably put one on mine also....can't beat them damn GPS units when you're on a road trip!!
ha ha ha well my brother is 27... he will ride this chop from CHICAGO TO FL if he could get away long enough... jut let a bit of air out of the rear and he is golden on the high way.. it is SUPER comfortable to ride... we did GPS cause we did not want to wire up a speedo, so we did GPS so we haev the speedo AND know where hte hell we are going!
