Light bulbs
I would just wait till they make them because you need the right mirror angles to focus the light since there aren't any de-fusers on LED's. I've seen some AUX running lights in the auto parts store and have been tempted to try, but I don't know yet. They were in the shape of a bar instead of a bullet light. I have a LED MagLite and that bad boy is bright! It's not one of those cheesy kits either. It came from maglite with an LED. It also has the distance. My previous house in VA was on a 1/2 acre and that little 3 AA batt maglite lit my fence from the other end of the yard. If they can make our headlights LED with that focused of a beam and that amount of coverage I'd take one.
The Sylvania/Osram UltraSilverStar is at 4100K, and I bought two for 30 bucks, not counting the mail-in rebate.
I have had one burn out at 6months, but the rest are still going on at one year. (in my truck).

They do have 5watt LEDs, which is just crazy, and they output 190 lumens (190000mcd)
....but they are about 30 bucks each right now.For the comparison, the LEDs in most of the flashlights are around 1 to 2 watts.
My .02 I"ve been running 80/100 bulbs for 6 yrs. I got them from a rice shop {import}car anyways they have been great,I look like a frieght train coming down on ya,no problems with LE. or othr cars flashing, the best thing is I get 2 of them for 20 bucks....one thing they don"t last that long have to replace oh once a year..but at that price who cares...oh yeah remove your rubber condom. for heat build up...
