Will 11" progressives work on my 09 bob or will something rub what is stock shock length? Did a search and couldn't find what i was looking for. Thanks in advance.
I can tell you the stock shocks measured 12.6" from mid eye to mid eye on my Low Rider...... Put the Progressive 11" 430's and their front fork lowering kit and love the ride and handling I have now.
Stock is 12" on street bob. We mounted 1.75" lowering blocks on my friends 09, works fine as long as you not weigh over 180 pounds or plan to having a passenger on.
An 11" shock has 1" of travel with the sag set at 33% (proper amount for street riding).
Very short travel to get any real comfort out of em. I went back to a 12" shock. Worlds better handling, ride quality, still looks great.
(the fatbob shocks are not what I am running)
