moisture in speedometer???

Mine does the same thing. Once in the sun for a few hours it dries out, but the moisture always comes back. Seems like this is a pretty common problem. If anyone hears of a fix please share.

I talked to the dealer about mine on saturday. He actually told me it was normal! Told me there's a little hole in the under side of the gauge, and to give it a quick GENTLE shot of air from a blow gun. Not sure if I want to try it. Maybe if it gets bad enough..

silica packs

i think i will try to put some silica packs in the guts underneath the speedo.

Mine is the opposite. It's dry when i start out and it fogs up more and more the longer you ride. Even when it's sunny and warm out.

Pardon me (a Touring guy) for jumping into your area gents but the thread title caught my eye and wanted to say I have the same problem with my '07 RK. It's so bad here in FL that the black backing that the numbers etc. are printed on is detaching and getting all buckled up in bubbles

Mine fogged before I worked on it. I sealed mine when I reassembled it with a silcone sealer. A little shot of nitrogen from an a/c hose w/ a home made adapter before sealing it completely. It's been a year of sun, shade, rain, etc. and not 1 issue!
