Got in another short ride today and vibrations are definitely increased compared to before I made the changes. I rechecked to see if I have any frame contact or any other problem with the installation and found nothing apparently wrong. The new mufflers don't contact anything except the exhaust pipes they clamp on and the brace that connects the two together. There are the two stock braces to the pipes that I didn't touch, one to the crankcase and one to the transmission housing. They appear to be as stock and not touched.
This appears to be something I'll have to live with or change something about the mufflers. On the plus side the bike is running great and I'm getting used to the noise level. I like the tone but I'd probably dial the volume down a tad if there was an adjustment for that
. I expect some would say get used to it and don't be a wuss.

PORTUGOOSE, I paid $647 for the package, excluding shipping. That looks like a good deal to me. I added the chrome backing plate myself, so that's not included in the price. Now if anyone needs a new SE backing plate (not chrome), I could fix you up.
