The handle pump is good reason not to get the yellow jack, IMO.....I just stand my bike up, roll my jack under with my foot and then use my foot to pump it up while I steady the bike with both hands.

 

I have the Craftsman yellow Jack. It's not bad for me. I straddle the bike with kick stand up. Slide the jack under, make sure the adapters are straight, and go to town. Once I'm about to lose tire contact I strap her down and shoot it for the moon.
