I got my response from the FuelPak team, looks like no remapping is necessary.

Here is their reply...

With the new baffles you will still use FP-0535.

Do they seem to be running fine for you though?

Mine are running awesome with the fuelpak, but then again my machine wasn't running perfect before I installed them.

for me on my BR it was really simple. Just remove the heat shields that are held on with hose clamps. Had to completely separate the front clamp in my application but not a problem. Then the VH baffles are held in with a button head bolt (allen key but don't remember size). Slide baffles out, slide BCT's in and they bolt in the same way with the same hole.

On my pipes, the upper baffle sticks and is hard to remove but there are threads on how to get that out if yours is similar.

It's amazing how simple they are too when you really look at them.

according to the paperwork there should be no re-mapping necessary. I am sure things are a bit different but not enough to cause a problem. My bike is running fine with no re-map so far. (not the QQ's)

ohhhh! boy do I feel like an idiot. I thought the original BCT's were quiet baffles, so they're just there to change the tone, sweet!

on that note,

anyone have BCT's in the VH short shots? which diameter should I order. Bike is at home so I cant measure it.

For my Short Shots I ordered the 2" Inside Diameter and the 2 1/8" Outside Diameter.

**The muffler measurements on the V&H site only list the Outside Diameter**

They do fit a little loose but Big City Thunder confirmed that is how they are supposed to fit.

There is also a Quiet Version of the BCTs that have a mesh cone on them.

EDIT: make sure the measure for your self too, just to be belt and suspenders about it.
