They do fit a little loose but Big City Thunder confirmed that is how they are supposed to fit.

There is also a Quiet Version of the BCTs that have a mesh cone on them.

EDIT: make sure the measure for your self too, just to be belt and suspenders about it.
Thanks rook!

I just got mine installed yesterday in my big shots. I've messed with the baffles in those pipes so much trying to get the sound I want I've mastered the skill of heat shield removal. Took me about 10 minutes (broke a hose clamp on the upper heat shield, I keep spares in the shop). All I can say is SWEET. At idle the tone is awesome. The BCTs took just enough of that metallic straight pipe sound away. The real grin maker was running it down the road, though. Before I put these in the bike sounded really, really crappy off the throttle between shifts and on decel. Now it just has that mean *** WAH-BAH sound (huh?) with no backfiring or cracking. Love these things. Buy them.

Mine are running awesome with the fuelpak, but then again my machine wasn't running perfect before I installed them.
It runs great, probably better than before.

Quick question....Getting ready to do the head pipe install on a set of baffles i picked up from Thomaskray. When installing, theres an end of the baffle that has a washer-like thing suspended in the middle. Does this end go facing outwards or inwards?

The instructions said that you can place them either way, with the washer towards the pipe tip is supposed to be slightly louder and better torque, with the washer towards the header is supposed to be quieter and more power later in the power band.

I have the washer facing the pipe tip.

My baffles came in today. Doing the install now. First thing I noted is that with the sideshots you not even close to the 3" min depth. The hole is barely 1". With some measuring and a new hole, I was able just able to get the recommended 6" depth. I'll get a pic up in a bit of the new holes drilled. I also installed the baffles with the "Thunder Bolt" (fancy name for a washer on a stem) like they recommended, towards the rear of the pipe.
