Anyone have any input on the jack pictured in the given link....Powerbuilt 1500 or something like that. I have a guy willing to sell a basically new one to me for 40 bucks.

Worth a try for $40. If it ain't stable enough for ya, Craigs or ebay. I have a PitBull and it's on par with the J&S. If you opt for one (P-B), get their Dyna series...no adapters and works with all HD; lifts 25", too. I'd'a gotten the J&S if I hadn't stumbled upon a NIB PitBull on Craigs for $300.

I've got the Sears yellow jack and it works great. Takes about a minute to put the adapters under the bike, no big deal.

My $80.00 Sears jack (on sale) with straps could handle my 800+ pound GoldWing with no problems. Compared to that bike my Sportster was like a toy. Since my Dyna only weighs about 85 lbs. more it should be no problem, but I haven't had to jack it yet.
