Default Anybody 'sand' texture PC their wheels?
How about it? Anybody powder coat their rims with the 'sand' texture instead of smooth? Any reason NOT to?? Thinkin bout doin mine but not sure it'll jive with the rest of the bike, mostly bein smooth.

Might make it a bear to clean them but other than that I can't see why not to do it.

I've done it many times and it looks great, go for it! BTW - it's no harder to clean than your engine powder... same thing.

Cool, Thanks guys! Guess that'll be next!

My girlfriend's Nightster wheels, hubs and spoke nuts are at the PC'ers right now getting PC'd burgundy to match her pin stripe. Gonna look cool. Did all the work myself so far. Re-lacing the wheels is gonna be fun. Doesnt look too hard.

just did a set last night! came out pretty cool! i used a vein powder but basicly the same thing...

I was looking at the new 883 iron the other day. Looks like the wheels have a little texture to them. Nice.
