What does the stealer charge for the 1000 mile service?

I just had mine done about 2 weeks ago and they charged me $165.76 w/ synthetic oil.
I guess yours would be considered a Dealer and mine a Stealer since I paid $325.00 + tax last week for mine and I furnished the Redline Shockproof Heavy for the tranny. I checked a couple of other HD stealers in the Phoenix metro area and they were a little cheaper but not much.
I consider myself very lucky. After hearing all of the horror stories with the Stealers everywhere else, I'm glad to be dealing with someplace that treats me great and doesn't try to rob me blind. This is one example of how great my dealership (Coziahr HD) is:

When I bought the bike, I wanted the 95" kit. They ordered everything but one thing was on backorder. I am thinking great, its going to take forever to get this done. Someone that works there gave up their parts so I could get mine finished. He said that he would just get his done later in the season. Not many dealerships with people like that working there.

There are a few other stories, but I think you get the idea. I would recommend them to everyone.

Now if they would just give me some free stuff for this advertisement. lol

Get 3 quarts of engine oil and a chrome H-D oil filter(got to be chrome), and grab your wife's rectangle baking pan, and a wrench to fit the drain plug. Remove the engine sump drain plug, and let the oil drain out of the oil sump into the pan, then install the drain plug and tighten(about one hex of a turn after tight, don't strip the threads). Loosen the oil filter, then get a large ziploc bag and put the bag around the oil filter adapter, and unscrew the filter by hand, and let it fall into the bag. Remove the bag, and drain the oil from the filter into the baking pan, and zip the bag shut, and throw away the bag and filter. Take the new filter and with your finger put some oil on the rubber gasket, and install the filter until the rubber gasket makes contact, then tighten another 1/2 turn. Install 3 quarts of oil(your choice) through the oil fill hole(the one with the engine oil dipstick). Start the engine, and let idle until the oil light goes out. Check the oil on the dipstick(should be somewhere in the operating range). Run the bike around the block, and stop and check for any leaks. There now you can go ride, and save your money for a service manual, and change the rest of the fluids(primary and trans), and do your own 1000 mile inspection. Save all receipts. Now, wasn't that easy? Oh, have your wife save the empty laundry detergent bottles to drain the oil from the baking pan into. Clean out the baking pan, wash the pan with soap, and let the dishwasher do the rest. Take the old drain oil to the nearest auto parts store, as they will take the old oil for free.

1) Girlfriend would probably kick my A** if I used one of her pans. I think that I would use the drain pan that I have.
2) Already have a service manual.
3) If someone would work some of my 60-80 hours a week, I would do it.
4) Just moved into a new house and if someone would volunteer to get the yard in order, build a shed, paint, etc all the other stuff that the girlfriend wants, then I would do it.
5) Call the dealership, free pickup and drop off, do chores, ride to work! I'm sold on that idea until work slows down.
