wow if it turns out to be ignition chalk my response up to a really lucky guess. Sorry I don't know how to read the coil though.

If you just got the bike this winter are you familiar with the choke enrichener? They don't close by themselves. Have you looked at your plugs, are they all carboned up? 2 1/2 turns is usually good on the Air mix screw. Another thing to look at would a primary chain might need some adjustment. When you pull in the clutch you are more than likely rolling off the throttle (I hope). Invest in a M6 auto adjuster for the primary chain, it's a good investment.

I think i've got the choke figured out dude. Got an appointment at the dealership tomorrow, enough messing around. My felling is that the previous owner changed the jet to a larger one and didn't replace the jet needle. Pretty sure the coil and wires are good as well. Off to see the professionals! will let you all know the prognosis, thanks for the help and advice.
