fatcats are not too loud. exotic sound, deep. the thunderheader is deeper, I think you get a better pipe with the fatcat. The fatcat comes with heatshields, beautiful fit and finish, and outstanding performance. The supertrapp supermeg is also a great pipe. it is tunable for sound and torque vs horsepower. No point on the BCT on a 2-1.
thx for the info. on youtube rinehart 2/1 sounded NICE and deep, but there was limited info. I see there is a BUB "7" and a regulare Rinehart, guess I need to look into those also..
I run a Bassani and it has a real deep tone, but it is a bit loud. If you're seriously considering a BUB you should know that they are on closeout through Drag Specialties. Drag will no longer be selling them so they are blowing them out!
My 2 favorites are Tunderheader & Bassani pro 2 into 1...I think they'll be a little louder than what you're lookin for though! The fatcat is a pretty deep soundin pipe & ya can get the quiet baffle, also has very good fit & finish...will surely fit what you're lookin for! Good luck!
I did similar research 12 month ago. Ended up buying RB Racing LSR 2in1. Great Sound and power feels lot better, especially at the bottom/mid range compared to V&H short shots I used to have. However the black powder coat finish has completely "faded" away. RB racing simply said: "**** happens".
Right now the pipe looks like a raw steel. The finish that they use is way below the acceptable quality. I am getting the pipe HPC coated in a few weeks,.
Simply put, I wouldn't buy RB Racing pipe again. They make you feel like they doing you a favour by selling their product to you.
Thunderheader and Bassini will probably get you the most power but they're loud and throw quite a bit of heat on your right leg due to the equal length head pipe design.

thx, i have already taken them out of the equation due to the sound, but its good to now understand why they put out more heat!
