here's my streetbob with badlander seat... i like its shape, better than the leather version even if leather is better...
I'm probably going to change it (maybe with a stripper or a corbin) but i do have more important parts on my wish list so the seat can wait... il get it when I'll be bored with nothing else to buy...
Gidday, welcome to the HDForums from New Zealand, enjoy!!!! [sm=welcomesign.gif]
I have both the solo and the sundowner and swap depending on circumstanses.
By the way, you forgot to introduce yourself over in the new members area.
I got the badlander. I love the look. At first I hated it cause it hurt me a$$. Now after a 1000 miles on the seat I'm use to it and it doesn't bother me. The wife on the other hand hates it. She can olny standit for about a half hour, and she brings along her own padding (if you know what I mean).
I have an 06 Street Bob and purchased the sundowner two up seat so my wife can come along. I also got quick disconnect sissy bar and docking hardware so I go back to the solo seat in less than 5 minutes. I purchased the bumper kit with the two up seat but did not like the idea of sticking the rubber pads to the finder. I drilled holes in the bumper and attached four suction cups (picked them up at Wal-Mart) to the bumpers. I then stuck the bumpers to the seat. The suction cups keeps the rubber bumpers from shifting and scarring the paint to bad. The docking hardware and turn signal relocation kit said to remove the rear wheel. I jacked the bike up and undid the shocks and let the wheel down. Had plenty of room to redo the wiring. Sorry no pictures yet.
i just ordered the detach pillion pad kit for the 05 iheard you can grind the plastic tab on the pillion pad and it works.any info on the kit would be helpful?i think phreak did this i already have the pillion and sissy bar but hate the rubber bumpers on the fender also

Yup, I cut a notch in the plastic plate on the pillon that holds the metal... clip... that goes into the receiver under the solo seat.
Didn't get the bumper kit. I put some strips of weather stripping on the bottom side of the pillon.
Sorry about the crappy cell phone pix, but I just went out in the lot and took these.
