Let's see ...

-BareBones and Pillion
-Black Powder on Derby, Horn, AC, and timing cover
-Re-located front signals
-Flipped mirrors
-Removed shield
-Back to stock Risers
-Back to Mini-Rail Sissy
-LED chrome/smoked taillight

....in general I cleaned it up and went to a "less is more" philosophy.

I'm with you on the paint, I plan on doing mine too. I'm real close to getting after it. Here's a question for you guys, how much paint does it take to cover the tins on one of these?

I bought 3 basecoats, 4 candies, a small 1 oz container of pearl, intercoat clear,+ black, and white for a flame retro/ live paint job, all 1/2 pints, plus qt of urethane clear plus hardener, reducer, flow enhancer, and some pin stripping enamels, all told I could probably paint three bikes, but that's for my scheme only. Plus I use LVLP for base and clear, very efficient, airbrush uses so little for the rest. Since I'm using 8 colors, I have too much, long story short, single color, efficient transfer, 1 qt color 1 qt clear, plus hardener, reducer, and flow enhancer. Assuming no mistakes, this will be plenty. Only mix up as much as you will use immediately,it won't keep once it's catalyzed.

Thanks, this will be my first time so maybe I shoud get a gallon. I have a friend that will help me out and give me the pointers I need so hopefully it will go well. If not he said he would paint it for me, I'll just have to remove the paint so he can start fresh.
