Am i the only one who doesnt like forward controls??
Just put on forwards this past week with the troublemakers and not sure if i like forward controls... feel like i cant relax my legs??? Is this common and what can i do to help the situation?????..........thanks.....tim
if you don't like them put the others back on and sell them, i'm sure you can get yr money for them.
not everyone likes them, forwards are not good for aggresive ridding, they drag in turns and put you in not the most optimum position for twistys. i know lots a sporty guys who hate forwards for just that reason.
there really isn't anything you can do to change it, don't try to IMO, just go with what is comfortable.

If you want forwards, which I like mids better, keep the mids for another place to put your feet. Get a good set of pegs with a flat surface.
I use the mid-controls for better control around traffic and curves, but I have the forward foot rests to stretch my legs. Yours can be the reverse.
The one thing I really dislike on a HD is that "LONG" shift lever. I just think the shorter shift linkage with the mids is a cleaner look. Reminds me of the linkage arms on my old Farmall 140.
If you ride agressive or have back problems (or short legs) then forwards aren't for you. My FB came with forwards and I just added mid pegs because its a more comfortable riding positions for me.
