Deutsch in German language means "from Germany" and or "German language"
When the German setllers from Europe came to North America the word "Deutsch" changed to Dutch, nowadays meaning "from the Netherlands" and or "Dutch language"

See links to Wikipedia info:
Deutsch

Dutch

Pronunciation

Which is where the "Pennsylvania Dutch" came from.

Deutsch is Doy (rhymes with "toy") plus "tch" as in "witch". Doy-tch.
