I get to do a lot of travelling. I rent a bike where ever I go.
I have ridden everything but the Ultra and the Road Glide. Next trip is in a couple of weeks and I have a Road Glide reserved.
I am seriously thinking of adding a Street Glide to the stable with my Dyna. I have thought that when I take the long hauls it would be nice to be behind a fairing and have some storage. I recently rode one for about 1000 miles and really enjoyed it. It was the 2nd time I rented a Street Glide.
But, I can't see giving up the Superglide. I love my Dyna and shes been good to me.
I will be adding a front guard of a tourer for the looks and keeping the streetbob.
Its got much more get up and go than a streetglide and is much more nimble.
I can make it fit the tourer look that I want and those batwing fairings are dangerous you can't see stuff right in front of the front wheel.
Does anyone make a clear batwing that you can see through? http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/c...ANDTHESLOB.jpg
My dyna is definitely more fun (solo) than my Road King. They're totally different bikes. I thought about trading the King in on a Street Glide. Harley hit the jackpot with that one. Buddy at the gym is taking possession of his 09' any day now...can't wait to see it.
I plan on getting a 09 Street Glide after I sell my 04 Super Glide. My wife and I were out test riding bikes over the weekend and fell in love with the Street Glide.
