Solo seat is on...FINALLY
The cause of it not fitting was Jackyl's 3" tank lift. I had to move the tank so far back that the rear tabs on the tank (under the seat) were interfering with the seat being able to fully get into position.
I had initially drill some new holes for the rear mount bolt. Because I didn't do a clean job, today, I had to reem them out with my cordless jigsaw. Yeah, it was real fun.
Once I got the holes reemed enough that I could adjust the tank as I needed all was good to go.Oh yeah..and I also had to flip my risers around because my apes were hitting the tank at full lock. I don't remember the member who came up with that idea the other day but THANKS DUDE. I should have thought of that sooner.
Now i have about 1/8" between the forks and the tank at full lock, no issues with the handlebars hitting and my solo seat is on.
Taken with my "ok" 2mp LG Vu camera phone.
Here is another point of view. I like this seat. It's not the wide version.

I've been told and read on many threads here that the mustang seats are very comfy. Guess time will tell. I'm sure others who have more saddle time in their mustangs could chime in.

. I am still drooling.
