Default Brake/run/turn module 69462-06a
I just opened the package to peruse the install and something occured to me. After installation, don't the rear bulbs need to be dual filament, like the front? One filament is on all the time (running light) and the other filament would be for brake/turn signal actuation. I just happen to have a surplus of 1157 bulbs layin around so I'm good, just in case.

My logical tells me yes they do need to be dual filament but there is no mention in the install and dual filament bulbs were not included with the kit. Just two red covers, the module, and some zip ties.

You don't change the bulbs. The unit changes the voltage to the bulbs.

The dual filiment bulbs pins are set different then the single so the socket would need to be changed. If that was the case. With this module it changes the voltage. So no change! I thought it was odd also.

No need to change bulbs. Works fine with single filament bulbs as the module changes the voltage . I've had it for 2 years.

Just installed this kit and love it. Just pop off the amber lenses, pop on the red lenses in the kit. Then lift up the seat and plug in the module. Total install time was 5 minutes tops.

Ha, my next step too is to cut the tail light off of my plate mount.

Just seems kinda pointless with those two bright as hell lights right next to it....
