I know there are a lot of Hampton Roads guys on here. I was wondering if you guys knew of any reputable independent mechanics. Not that I dont trust the guys at southside or bayside (who i know has great techs). I just like to have my options open. THanks!

 

dont know how reputable but i stopped in a new one on london bridge road a couple of days ago, younger guys but seemed to me to be alright. Who knows- VB custom cycles and the mangers name is dusti- 427-3301. peace

That one on London Bridge is GREAT. Can't remember the name of it but it was in a little strip mall type place. They really did me and a buddy right when we were out there visiting. My buddy needed a new rear tire at 2pm on a Saturday. We called all of the Harley shops and they had the tires but would not put them on. We had to get back to Nashville. Called the place on London Bridge, owner said bring it over and he took his truck to the Harley dealer, picked us up a new rear, came back to the shop and gave us a couple of cold brews while we waited for him to change the tire. All of this and it was cheaper than the stealer puttin the tire on. They had some sweet bikes in there too.

Yep I'm doing the Outer Banks ride and the Iron Butt ride next month. You going?

 

I am more than likely going to do the Outer Banks ride..but wont be able to make the Iron Butt...next time hopefully! Id love to do this one, considering you get all your certs, etc on the spot!!

 

Yea that is definately a plus and also setting 2 records I just couldn't pass it up.
