Find an indy and take it off the bike yourself. Most of the cost comes from taking the tire off the bike and putting it back on. It isn't that hard and usually takes about 10-15 minutes to remove and put back on.

agreed......... cycle gear also does mounting for good prices
375.00 is about what I paid for 2 new American Elites which included Take off Mounting Balanced and 2 new bearings as well .. Quite Capable of removing my tires but when have an Indy with this guys talent don't mind throwing him a little extra now and then to keep him around in this small town..
Really, I was quoted 250 to replace both front and rear tires. The price included labor, tubes, rim strip and brake pads for both front and rear. Most indy (I researched) charge one hour per tire and they charge anywhere from 65 - 80 an hour. Also, they may charge a little more if you bring your own tire.
It may cost you a little more, since you have a touring bike.
I am off work today and just wanted to get it done today. At Petersons right now. For about 175 bucks more than what Sunrise wanted I am getting a front tire and brake pads too. Still feel I am over paying, boy I am unprepared to hunt down an indy. Need to find one now, for extra time I need work.
