QD Clamp fix in progress...
Meant to post yesterday when I first saw this thread ... think you could make me one, too? [J/K]
You could've talked to Forum member Tyson (aka Loner Industries) ... he's not too far, in Vancouver, WA and has a CNC machine ... probably could've popped one of those little fellas out pretty quickly and for not a lot of $$$ ....
Actually, I have three intact (the fourth one's broken ... did I mention?) that I would be willing to part with ....
Any takers? ... oh, I should mention that they're for 39mm forks, but that should be a minor detail for someone who's as handy as you ....

I think that when Destination looked up my clamp, it was a different P/N for my 49mm tubes. They had a clamp to fit the smaller tubes, but had to send me to their sister store for my clamp. It's possible that the bodies are different between the two, but the clamp finger (my broken part) may be the same...donno.
Things would have been easier if I could'a just written a part program for a CNC Mill, but our area just works composites and the closest we have is a high pressure water-jet cutter.
here it is 4 AM and with going back to work I finally got to read this thread, Nice work. i just sent you a e-mail on that air bus crash in france. $200 mill and we are the dumbies for buying oil from these A-holes.
joey no shrit nice to see you again.
the sun was shinning but I hasd to make hay before the rains so I got a little riding in last night. I had to work over the St Paricks weeks so I couldn't lead any of the parades with the cop bike.
well I'm going back to bed now that all the thunder moved east of us. Palm sunday we had a Twister come thru about 3 to 5 miles west of us, it took out a barn in the valley and hopped over the mountain and pulled some trees out on the other side ,we did get about 2 inches of hale.
