My first attempt at posting a pic

This is the new ride '09 FXDC. I took this pic on my trip to Phoenix a couple weeks ago. It was a great trip. I'm thinking I should move to AZ so I can ride all year.

Arizona is wonderful. If I weren't married with 2 kids, I'd run away to Arizona with my girlfriend.

Can't beat it, we ride every weekend and to work on most days. I only gas up my cage maybe once a month.

Izzat the lake you pass on the way to Tortilla Flat? Growing up in the green PacNW, I couldn't imagine the "desert" being beautiful. Boy, was I wrong. Bro #2 spends the winter months in Mesa, and I've visited every February for the last 5 years. Last year, a week before my visit, I won the ebay bid on my bike pictured below. I got to ride it around a few times while I was there, before shipping it home (didn't wanna roll the dice on the Siskiyous in Winter time!) I've come to see AZ as a beautiful place, and will be revisiting Sedona, Canyon-lands, and Monument Valley.

Are you sure that's an '09? I thought they changed out the rear fender & tail light on the '09s
That aside yes, AZ is a nice place, used to live in Scottsdale (parent's still do). But since the 101 was built the drivers on that roadway are nuts. I think I would have to get out of the greater phoenix area for something a bit more quiet. But again, AZ has some spectacular landscapes and some great quiet back roads that are a blast to ride.
