I am looking for a roll type bag for short trips that will fit my tapered round sissy bar with only a solo seat, does anyone recommend a bag they use with a similar set-up? I am looking to spend around $100, hope not much more.
I highly recommend the T-Bag Route 66 Saddle Roll Bag. It fits backrests up to 14" wide (it's adjustable). I'm in my third year owning it and quality-wise it's been excellent. Straps down tight and I don't have to worry about it at all. Holds a lot of junk. $128, which is above your price range but for the quality it's worth it. Free shipping at the link above I'm pretty sure.
Edit: After typing this I see you don't appear to have a luggage rack behind your sissy bar, so I'm not sure if this will work for you. I think it's designed to rest on the rack while strapped down.
I bought this Rally Pack set at my local Indy for $90 and you get 2 bags. You can use them together or seperate and the straps will strap to almost any size backrest. It has multiple straps that you can adjust to different lengths so that would work with your sissy bar. Still need something on the fender for it to sit on though.
